Ampharos!  How can anybody not fall in love with this cute and powerful pokemon?  I remember all the times I’d restart my old pokemon games and do another playthrough, trying the game out with different teams.  Nine times out of Ten, Ampharos made it into my main 6 at least once through the game, even if I had to level grind for hours to find a place for it.  “Ampharos gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space. People in the old days used the light of this Pokémon to send signals back and forth with others far away.”  - Pokedex Entry This Ampharos was made for chrysannarose as part of an art trade!  I hope she likes it :D This is the most I’ve really done with a base so far, and I was inspired by chrysannarose’s work on one of her most recent sculptures where she sculpted and incorporated a whole tree onto the base!  Holy shit, right?  Definitely, so I knew I had to step up my game.  Materials used:  Sculpey III Brown, Super Sculpey, Wood base, 16 Gauge tempered steel wire frame, acrylic paints, foil, superglue, Translucent Super Sculpey.  Tumblr was being a turd, so here’s the gif of the turnaround:
