Art 100B Final - Stop-motion Claymation
Final project for my Combined Media art class this semester! 
Some sculpey clay, miscellaneous materials, a digital camera&tripod, 765 frames, and an unrecorded number of hours later - here it is!

My sister let me use a song she made (she’s good at music stuff) which i just remixed to fit the video (it’s a little wonky bc im a noob when it comes to A/V technology)

pretty proud of how it turned out overall ^u^ i’m probably not going to change this much, if at all, but feedback is still welcome!

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH this was great!!  I love the little storyline, it’s played out so well with the emotion in the eyes and the characters!  Everybody had their own feel, and the central character was fun :D  The music fit perfectly with the story and the animation was well done!!  You made the bold choice of using uncured super sculpey; I find that even warming it up in my hand usually darkens the tone a couple shades but any darkening of the clay was entirely imperceptible!!  All around, this was a fantastic job!

 If you don’t mind my asking, I see your sculptures and look at mine and think “What the hell am I doing wrong?” I was curious, if you don’t mind sharing, what exactly do you do? Like, what’s the rundown? How do you not get lint and dust stuck to your sculptures and what kind of clay do you use? My biggest question (again, if you don’t mind answering, I completely understand if not.) How do you get them to stand on one foot/part/etc without falling over? Ampharos!  How can anybody not fall in love with this cute and powerful pokemon?  I remember all the times I’d restart my old pokemon games and do another playthrough, trying the game out with different teams.  Nine times out of Ten, Ampharos made it into my main 6 at least once through the game, even if I had to level grind for hours to find a place for it.  “Ampharos gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space.
